She has experience with British accents from her theater work. This came in handy when she was auditioning for the role of the Armorer in The Mandalorian (2019), because she was asked to perform with that accent. After she landed the part, she combined elements of British and Mid-Atlantic accents into her performance. Her accent turned out so convincing that many believed that she was from Britain.
