Eileen Robinson, an African-American single mother of two, is wrongly convicted of murder. The prison doctor fakes her execution and she is taken to an island prison to be a guinea pig in experimental drug tests. She escapes and evades the FBI, the Coast Guard and battles a private security force to uncover the evidence that will prove her innocence and reunite her with her children.
