Very happy that our screenplay was chosen as an award winner by judges that love the genre, and feedback from people who know the genre was very helpful. I made a tweak or two from that feedback and even used a quote in a query letter to some managers that just got me some screenplay requests. Good communication from the festival.

I won best short sci-fi film, and I was taken good care of by staff. They really focus on the heart of what drives filmmakers. It’s how festivals used to be, and still should be.
