  • Once you’re a mom, always a mom. It’s like riding a bike, you never forget.
  • Every human walks around with a certain kind of sadness. They may not wear it on their sleeves, but it’s there if you look deep.
  • Humans have a light side and a dark side, and it’s up to us to choose which way we’re going to live our lives. Even if you start out on the dark side, it doesn’t mean you have to continue your journey that way. You always have time to turn it around.

“Some of the things that Ainsley has to say are shocking and there were moments where I thought, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to pull this off,'” Randolph admitted to The Hollywood Reporter one month later. “I want to find the most human version of this character that I can, and I work really hard at doing that.”

Perfection can only be two-dimensional. You can make a picture perfect, and maybe that’s why I like film, it’s imperfect because it’s in motion. I keep trying to think of our home and our life like that, it doesn’t have to look a certain way, just feel a certain way.

One Tree Hill (2003) will always be very, very special to me. It was my first television show. And my first gig in the business. It was surreal. I booked the role when I was 13. I had just started high school, and literally, I think, a week into high school, I found out I got the role. It was unimaginable! I learned so much from that show.

I don’t think it was a surprise that I ended up as an actor, and it was anything but a disappointment. My parents gave me the knowledge that reading isn’t a bad thing, and admitting to liking a painting doesn’t make you an arse-bandit. And that wouldn’t have been a problem either.
