Miss District of Columbia 1977, 1st runner-up Miss World USA 1977.
One of her best friends is Fran Drescher, who played matchmaker for Donna and her future husband, Dan Aykroyd, after they all appeared together in Doctor Detroit (1983).
Was once engaged to Paul Stanley, one of the lead singers of the rock group KISS. Stanley wrote “I Still Love You” from the KISS Album Creatures of the Night after she ended their engagement.
