For me it was really great to get response from the audience. I have worked hard to finish the project. And i loved the way the audience is trying to find their answer of meaning that is captured in the film. I want to Thank you for showcasing my film. The audience feedback video was awesome.

Died Today (October 6th): Denholm Elliott (1922–1992)

[in 1974] Where I am at the moment I know that I could be – if I wished to be – a top-ranking star because I have the power and the technique, I think, to take on anyone and the only thing that has stopped me from being a top-ranking star is my desire to be – which I’ve never wanted. It’s only recently have I achieved the weight to if I want to be. I mean I could go to Stratford and play Prospero, I could have taken a television series and built myself up and done all sorts of things but I don’t. I like an anonymity and I like sort of in a sense being an amateur.

But I don’t really care for directors flaring up and trying to humble some actor, which they would do to try and make an example out of them so everybody else would stay on the ball–and [David Lynch] wasn’t anything like that.

Happy Birthday: Britt Ekland

brittekland.jpgBritt Ekland

Born: October 6, 1942 in Stockholm, Sweden

Had an affair with rocker Rod Stewart in the mid-’70s, and sang French on his smash hit “Tonight’s the Night”. When she found out he was unfaithful to her, she filed a $12.5-million palimony suit, claiming that she gave up much of her career for him and that she deserved a large portion of his income as compensation. The lawsuit was dismissed by the courts.

[on Peter Sellers] I would squirm with embarrassment at the demeaning lengths he would go to in order to ingratiate himself with the Royal Family.

[on Warren Beatty] Warren is the most divine lover of all. His libido was as lethal as high-octane gas. I had never known such pleasure of passion in my life.
