I went to a museum and they had this sideshow. There was a little boy who couldn’t have been more than six. His feet didn’t even touch the ground. Each time they showed a dinosaur he would shout, “Tyrannosaurus!” “Stegosaurus!”. He did that for an hour and I thought, “What is it about dinosaurs that’s so fascinating?” That’s when I decided to write “Jurassic Park”.

Dominique Dunne (1959–1982)

Murdered by her ex-boyfriend, John Thomas Sweeney, just nineteen days before her 23rd birthday.

She was cast as Robin Maxwell in V (1983) and filmed several scenes before she was murdered. After her death, Blair Tefkin was cast in the role. The only footage of her which remains in the miniseries is a shot of her back in the scene in which the Maxwells observe the arrival of the Los Angeles mothership. The miniseries was dedicated to her memory.
