jonathanrhysmeyers.jpgJonathan Rhys Meyers

Born: July 27, 1977 in Dublin, Ireland

In order to avoid the boyish and somewhat androgynous junkies and weak-willed characters he found himself typecast as, he underwent a fitness regime in 2004 and gained and maintained about 25 extra pounds of muscle, so he can also be considered for more masculine roles.

Born: July 27, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA

I started doing yoga in college, so that has just become a staple of a self-care routine for my mind and my body. My body craves it at this point, so I do it two to three times a week, sometimes more. I practice Vinyasa style yoga and sometimes mix it up.

[on Julie Andrews] It’s marvelous to direct her. She’s enormously professional and understands that in the final analysis the last word is mine. Actually, working with Julie on a film is a whole lot easier than working with many people that I’m not married to!
