Watch the Video Pitch for BROKEN FRAME

Get to know writer Stephen Boncella:

1. What is your story about?

It’s 1975 and Mike Davis, a decorated Vietnam veteran, has trouble surving in an America plauged by high unemployment and hostile towards returning serviceman. He hopes for a fresh start in the one place he vowed never to return, the family farm he left in order to escape an abusive alcoholic father. Standing his way is Emma, the kid sister he abandoned long ago. She’s grown up to become a drug-addicted prostate and the current owner of the farm. Emma has her own plans for the farm, sell it to the highest bidder and move to LA.

2. Why should people know this story?

I feel what makes this story wonderful is that it isn’t simply a “save the farm” story. It deals the with bonds of family, no matter how…

Video Pitch for Bader Field; How My Family Survived Suicide, by Carl David

WILDsound Festival's avatarWILDsound Festival

Watch the Video Pitch for BADER FIELD:

Get to know writer Carl David:

1. What is your story about?

This is the story of our 1960’s idyllic family which was suddenly thrust into a world of darkness by the suicide of one of my older brothers and our long painful journey back to daylight.

2. Why should people know this story?

Because it will help others to know that we can survive seemingly insurmountable events when faced with them. It is my larger hope that someone on that edge of desperation may understand the destruction suicide leaves on the survivors left behind and choose to live, not die. We are nor alone, we are loved and there is an abundance of help available today.
3. This story has a lot going for it. How would you describe this story in two words?

Inspirational and forgiving.

4. What movie have you…

Video Pitch for Eve, Mother of All Living, Feature Script by Gary Billings

WILDsound Festival's avatarWILDsound Festival

Watch the Video Pitch: EVE, MOTHER OF ALL LIVING:

Get to know writer Gary Billings:

1. What is your story about?

This is the epic story of Adam and Eve’s fall from paradise and the most logical progression of events that ensued based on the Genesis account.

2. Why should people know this story?

One reason would be to offer husbands and wives a story where the relationship deteriorated so badly that the husband’s favored son actually kills the wife’s favored son but in spite of that, because a bigger picture is brought into view, i.e. God vs the serpent, and because both parties do in fact love God, a beautiful resolution takes place. Love wins over hate. The story reveals that pride is largely to blame in many fractured relationships. This being a family movie, some scenes show the beauty of motherhood positively affecting children who in turn are…
